(IF you can, I have not realized how yet. This is also a major nuisance.Ĭons: I wish that once I make multiple user log ins that I could switch them around in the order they appear when they pop up. On others it may not fill the phone number or other important information, so all forms should be checked. Some forms it fills out completely and properly. I don't know if other password managers have this problem, but Roboform sometimes refuses to fill out fields on a form. I don't know if that's still the case because I keep my system permanently logged in now, but just a couple of weeks ago Roboform would not fill out a login for American Express. I was told it was because Netflix used flash in its log-in screen. In the past Roboform would, unbelievably, not fill out the login for Netflix. It doesn't happen often but when it does it is kind of infuriating. One, is that it actually balks at filling out some forms and passwords. There are a few real issues with the program, for me at least. I believe other password managers are available for free, but Roboform is a subscription service which I've used for many years, regularly renewing my subscription, partly out of inertia and not wanting to learn another manager. Roboform is insulting its user base and should change that policy immediately.Ĭons: It is a fairly complex program with many features, that takes some getting used to. This might be a money grab or power grab, but Roboform should not insult paying customers by disabling a free service in favour of a paying service. That's true, but I'm intelligent enough to decide that for myself, especially when Chrome fills in forms that Roboform mysteriously will not. When I complained to Roboform support one thing I was told was that browser managers and not as secure as form fillers like Roboform. I find that infuriating, as Roboform will not fill in some forms that Chrome always will. Most recently Roboform stopped integrating with Chrome form filler and actually disabled it. The longer the list, the harder to spot what one is looking for. So one ends up with a long list of entries to sort through. I've been using that function a lot, but one of the problems is I see no way to create separate folders for information. Roboform also has a function called Safenotes, which I like, where one can save encrypted personal information, such as bank account numbers, social security numbers, etc. Overall: I continue to use Robofom, as stated, partly out of inertia. Get the pro version because it's got all of the best features and it's really inexpensive. I would just highly suggest you go out and get RoboForm. If you're looking for a password manager, I can't and not have ever found anything that works any better. Sometimes the cross updating to re-register is a little bit tough but I've always been able to get it and their email support is fast and simple to deal with. RoboForm is super easy to onboard and they update it all the time. If I do it on my phone, I've got face ID and fingerprint ID on my laptop so it's a really secure program as well. Besides just saving passwords or creating ridiculously stupidly long passwords that nobody would ever guess, I can keep different profiles for each of my different companies so if I go to a new site and I want to sign in and save and create an account, I click one button and poof, everything gets loaded in there and it's super secure. I have three different companies so I can keep different profiles for each company, I can do fill-ins for each company and it just really works well.Īgain, I chose RoboForm because of the depth of what it does. Edge, and I just found RoboForm was just so much deeper. Well, I was an early adopter of RoboForm but I also did use the password savers that were built into, like, Google Chrome and, back in the day, Microsoft Explorer vs. For more reviews like this, please clip below. I am reviewing RoboForm and I give it five big stars. My name is Joe, I'm an independent music producer.
